OFFICERS
PRESIDENT: Colin Barber
Esq
Mr Barber was elected President in 1992 after being associated with the club for
over thirty years.
He joined the club as a raw, fast bowling schoolboy and progressed to opening
the bowling for the First Eleven. With his fearsome, galloping run-up, his gruff
appealing sent a shiver down the spine of anyone within the parish boundary.
Later on in his playing days he converted to off spin with much success and went
on to add many more wickets to his already impressive haul. Never one to caress
the ball, he either blocked it, slogged it or missed it - in equal proportions.
His position was normally in the tail but he would not give in without a fight.
This will-to-win also served him well as Second Eleven captain.
He also served as a Parish Councillor and a member of the Wollaston
Playing Field Committee.
GENERAL COMMITTEE
CHAIRMAN: Andrew Silsby
Andrew joined the Club as a junior and has been a member for nearly 20 years
and Chairman for five years. He Sunday captain in 2006 and worked tremendously hard
on the new pavilion. Oversees all aspects of the club and responsible for the
smooth running. The buck stops here!
SECRETARY: John Pike
John also came through the junior ranks and has been a member for nearly 20
years. He joined the General Committee in 2001 and took over the secretariat in
2004. First point of contact and responsible for most of the administration from
tea rota to fund raising.
TREASURER: John Hutcherson
John has been a member and vice president of the club for over thirty-five
years. A retired Finance Director, he has also held the post of auditor and
secretary. He is also a Life Member of NCCC.
FIXTURE SECRETARY: Brett Hanson
Brett joined the Club as First Eleven scorer when he was thirteen. He has
been Fixture Secretary for ten years and also held the post of Sunday Captain.
He is the present Second Eleven Captain.
GROUNDSMAN: John Hodges
John has been a Club member for over forty years and has
held several official positions within the Club including Chairman, Secretary
and Treasurer. He is also Chairman of the Northamptonshire Cricket League and
Secretary of the Sunday Challenge. He is a member of the Northamptonshire
Groundsmans' Association.
BAR MANAGER: Paul Jones
Paul has been a Club member for over 35 years and has held the posts of
Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and First Eleven Captain. At present he is also
the Club's Wollaston Sports Association representative. He is top First Eleven
run scorer.
PRESS and PUBLICITY OFFICER: David Ward
David has been a member for over forty years and has previously held the
posts of Secretary and First Eleven Captain. He is also Review Editor and
Website Editor.
WSA REPRESENTATIVE: Dick Underwood
Dick has been a member for over thirty years and during this time has also
held the posts of Second Eleven Captain and Bar Manager. He also umpires and
works on the ground.
SENIOR COACH : Neal Perry
Neal has been a member of the Club for over thirty years and a coach for
twelve.
CLUB WELFARE OFFICER: Neal Perry/Dave Mercer
FUND RAISING: Matt Jones, Andy Luck, Nick Shelton, Chris Perry.

just taken up the position after playing for many years.

Both ladies have officiated for many years and are the envy of visiting
clubs
