Rex has been an outstanding figure in the club still playing as a wicket keeper/ batsman, scoring 6103 runs for the first team and amassing 285 victims behind the stumps including 35 in one season. Successfully represents Northants Over 50’s where he has won many games for the veterans.. His famous advice to Liam Bates a few years ago when they had put on a big partnership was “Let’s lets not talk about cricket this over Batesy, lets talk about beer!!
