David joined
Wollaston Cricket Club in the youth teams and made his senior debut in 2006. His
tall frame is ideally suited to quick bowling and he has used the new ball in
the seconds to great effect for 2 seasons, picking up plenty of wickets along
the way. Having proved himself with the ball, David is now showing us how good a
fielder he is and that he can bat a bit as well! Although he is definitely a
player to keep an eye for the future, he has some great performances under his
belt already including his tally of 5 for 28 against the table topping Raunds
Town.
Was the winner of the Ernie Bryan Trophy in 2005 followed by the Partridge Young
Player of the Year trophy in 2006 and has played one game for the First Eleven
- becoming number 151. A.W
